Qualification Summary
You must meet the following United States Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM) qualification requirements for the advertised position. OPM’s prescribed Group Coverage Qualification Standardfor Administrative and Managementpositionscan be found here. You must meet all qualification requirements including time-in-grade (refer to 5 CFR 300.604 for more information on time-in-grade) by the closing date of the job announcement.Specialized Experience is experience that has equippedapplicants with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities tosuccessfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the federal service. GS-11 Candidates for the GS-11 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to theGS-09 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience at the GS-11 for this position includes the following: Experience utilizing at least one or more of the following tools/software 1) SharePoint or a similar web-based collaboration platform that integrates with Microsoft Office that is highly configurable 2) Tableau or a similar visual analytics engine that allows interactive visual analytics in the form of dashboards 3) Microsoft Excel or similar allowing calculation, graphing tools, and pivot tables or macro programming languages for applications, 4) Intranet Quorum (IQ) or similar browser-based enterprise communications and business process management system to assist users in coordinating workflow, database, and correspondence management and document tracking and performance measure.
Experience gathering and disseminating data for reporting purposes.
Experience serving as a procurement and budget purchasing agent to purchase, monitor and assess the needs of an organization. GS-12
Candidates for the GS-12 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to theGS-11 grade level in the Federal service.
Specialized experience at the GS-12 for this position includes the following: Experience utilizing at least one or more of the following tools/software 1) SharePoint or a similar web-based collaboration platform that integrates with Microsoft Office that is highly configurable 2) Tableau or a similar visual analytics engine that allows interactive visual analytics in the form of dashboards 3) Microsoft Excel or similar allowing calculation, graphing tools, and pivot tables or macro programming languages for applications, 4) Intranet Quorum (IQ) or similar browser-based enterprise communications and business process management system to assist users in coordinating workflow, database, and correspondence management and document tracking and performance measure.
Experience managing tracking and reporting databases to gather and disseminate data for reporting purposes.
Experience serving as a procurement and budget purchasing agent to purchase, monitor and assess the needs of an organization. OR Education – Applicants applying at the GS-11 grade level may qualify based on Education (See Education Requirements section)
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
