Qualification Summary
Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume. You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION FOR GS-06:You must have One (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-05 grade level in the federal government. Specialized experience is experience that is related to the work of this position and has provided you with the knowledge, skills and abilities required for successful job performance. To be qualifying, your experience must be sufficient to demonstrate working knowledge of input and output requirements for printers, working knowledge of computer applications and software (e.g. Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite), printing terminology, production, and the operation of production and mail processing equipment; working knowledge of the setup, operation, adjustments and system messages of electronic print systems to perform preventive maintenance and to take corrective actions when error conditions occur; experience in applying knowledge of the rules, regulations, guidelines and procedures relating to the production of materials using electronic systems; experience in working independently and in a team environment. In addition, your experience must demonstrate the ability to provide training and monitoring and serve as a resource guide to others in the workplace.
