In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying a wide range of contracting methods and contract types to plan and carry out both pre-award and post-award procurement actions;
2) Assisting technical specialists/customers in the preparation of statements of work, planning of procurement strategies, and identifying potential contractors and/or sources;
3) Applying contracting policies and procedures, negotiation techniques, and technical requirements to negotiate procurement of supplies and services; and
4) Administering contracts, such as firm fixed-price, fixed-price with re-determination provisions, cost reimbursement, or contracts with incentive provisions.
