The cinematography is by N Satyen. Dance choreography is by Satyanarayan.

The video opens with Jaya Bhaduri sharpening a knife manually, through a portable machine. As some women approach her, she begins to sing and dance in tune with this song. She shows a variety of knives and says that she can sharpen them.

Soon, she lifts her machine and moves away. There is a change of scene and costume. The song rises to a crescendo and ends. She is busy sharpening a knife when a man waves a knife in front of her. The video also ends there.

Asha Bhonsle sings this song for Jaya Bhaduri. Other actors are also seen in the video.

Cultural Influence

There is no influence of any culture on this song. The heroine is a street vendor, who specializes in sharpening knives. I love this Asha Bhonsle croon. The song and the artists are fantastic. The video is watchable for the same.
