You qualify for the GS-13 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with community organizations for the purpose of receiving and disseminating information on immigration enforcement and/or investigative matters. Assisting in determining the need for and developing information materials related to on immigration enforcement and/or investigative matters. Organizing, scheduling, and facilitating discussion and presentations in high level Executive stakeholder engagement meetings promoting programs, agency priorities and initiatives, policies, and procedures. Effectively assisting and guiding engagements and communication for organization leadership, public officials, and local communities, utilizing all available social media and online technology, communication strategies, techniques, and engagement practices. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
