You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:
Requires a knowledge and ability to isolate and repair malfunctions by a combination of visual and auditory examinations and the use of a wide variety of test equipment such as compression testers, test benches, multimeters, special feeler and dial gauges. Requires a thorough knowledge of the make-up, operation and installation of complex major systems and assemblies to troubleshoot, replace and repair components on a variety of systems or to rebuild one or more systems such as gasoline or diesel engines, automatic or manual transmission, gear reduction systems, etc., or other systems of similar complexity. Requires ability to read and interpret repair manual, drawing, etc.
