Master's Degree in education, psychology, social work, or a social science-related field. Three years of experience that demonstrates knowledge of and experience in serving as a Prevention Analyst OR a comparable combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above. Comprehensive knowledge of behavioral health prevention and response. Experience conducting presentations on behavioral health prevention and response and delivering education and training using a variety of techniques and methods. Knowledge of the military structure and environment preferred. Skill to establish and maintain effective relationships with, and gain confidence and cooperation of, supervisors and managers to accept proposals on complex issues; organize and communicate effectively orally and in writing at briefings and training sessions with Marine Corps leadership, media representatives, and in professional conferences and training workshops to encourage understanding and acceptance of programming. Comprehensive skills in: designing and interpreting surveys, fact finding, using investigative techniques and presenting results. Skill to analyze and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of business practices to meet goals and objectives. Skill to: analyze and evaluate procedures and systems; perform surveys to determine compliance with established policies and procedures, and formulate recommendations for improvement based on findings. Experience developing and implementing Behavioral Health prevention educational training programs. Experience preparing and obtaining training materials used in Behavioral Health prevention programs to include: lesson plans, resource guides, and films. This position has been determined as Non-Critical Sensitive. As a condition of employment, the incumbent must possess or be able to obtain and maintain an Access National Agency Check and Inquiries (T3/ANACI) Secret Clearance to access classified information.
