Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by. Applying a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices relevant to devising, justifying, and refining an optimized and operationally responsive program to identify, develop/acquire, implement Weapons, Tactics and capabilities (WT&C) and all phases of full spectrum cyberspace operations; Combining functional/programmatic expertise to difficult and complex work assignments which requires leadership and active participation in strategic planning, cyberspace guidance development, program/project planning, management, and resources planning/management; Interpreting US/DoD/Joint cyber operations policies/regulations, risk management/risk assessment fundamentals and process directives to ensure proposed COAs’ compliance with these parameters; Selecting, adapting, and applying quantitative/qualitative techniques for operational risk analysis, capabilities gap analysis, and project planning and management; Providing expert advice on how to optimize use of existing Weapons, Tactics and capabilities/assets to address real-time contingencies, identify deficiencies/opportunities to leverage emerging concepts/technologies and develop new methods, approaches, or procedures; Utilizing windows/Unix operating systems fundamentals, networking/router fundamentals, incident response and cyber security fundamentals.
