To qualify, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Utilize the Spanish language to assist others for effective oral and written communication; 2) Maintain the day-to-day activities of a community assistance program; 3) Advocate for those that are unable to communicate their needs; and 4) Interacting with clients, families, care providers, military or community agencies with tact and diplomacy. NOTE: This information must be supported in your resume to be considered for the position. This position has a Selective Placement Factor (SPF) that will be used to screen out ineligible candidates. The selective placement factor is: maintain proficiency in the Spanish language both verbally and written sufficient to serve as an interpreter. In addition to the basic requirement for this position, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Utilize the Spanish language to assist others in a social services setting;
2) Maintain the day-to-day activities of a community assistance program;
3) Advocate for those that are unable to communicate their needs; and
