Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Recommending alternatives to assist in solving technical problems associated with all facets of ship maintenance; 2) Developing work specifications, detailed reports and statements of work to support the planning of shipbuilding, ship repair, and modernization availabilities; 3) Reviewing and invoking technical requirements to ensure compliance with appropriate shipbuilding procedures, contracts and specifications during the planning and execution stage; and 4) Providing oversight of shipboard production work to ensure projects are completed according to schedule, work specification and quality.
