Qualification Summary
Applicants must meet the time-in-grade requirement and the specialized experience requirement,as described below, in order to receive consideration.
Specialized Experience at the GS-12 grade level:Applicants must possess 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-11, in the Federal Service,which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Specialized experience is in or directly related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which as equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Examples of creditable experience include: understands the methodology of new or upgraded software applications as well as assesses user needs in order to develop and provide group and individual training on computer programs, hardware and software applications, including instructions, training and troubleshooting in support of mission needs; develops queries and reports from data for various groups; provides statistical data analysis; designs, develops and implements specialized system software packages that require interaction of computer functions; tests new operating systems, application, or information systems.
There is no educational substitution in lieu of specialized experience at the GS-12 grade level.
