Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. .
GS-7 LEVEL: You must have one (1) year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-6 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience resolving technical problems within the assigned organization; knowledge of physical security program concepts, practices, standards, policies, and procedures taking action, to assist in resolving customers request for services; Experience applying technical rules, guidelines, regulations and precedents applicable to the provision of facilities services; Working knowledge of theories, techniques and methodologies to determine the effectiveness of program operations; Oral and written communications skills to acknowledge requests, clarify requirements, explain procedures and; skill in meeting and dealing effectively with others; Experience with Personal Identity Verification-Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (PIV/HSPD-12) and physical security controls; Experience working with office automation to enter data in various automated systems, such as, electronic access, control systems and HR Connect updates for employee clearances, and reassignments; Experience using and/or applying appropriate grammar, spelling, punctuation and commonly used formats and terminology. – The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis.- To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume.
In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following, if applicable:You must have been at the GS-06 level for 52 weeks (time-in-grade requirement).
