Movie – Zameer (1975)
The song, Zindagi hasne ganeke liye, was featured in the B R Films’ action drama Zameer (1975), directed by Ravi Chopra and produced by B R Chopra. The movie starred Amitabh Bachchan, Saira Banu, Shammi Kapoor, Indrani Mukherjee, Madan Puri, Vinod Khanna, etc.
Baadal (Amitabh Bachchan) is a happy-go-lucky man, who serves a community of poor people, by stealing from the rich. He is often caught and jailed for it. On the second occasion when he is allowed to go after his prison term, he is advised by the jailor to mend his ways. Otherwise, next time he would be in prison for a longer time period.
Once outside, he sees an official taking bribe for some reason and steals the money. He reaches his community and after distributing that money to the needy, sings this song.

He dances with the people, especially the girls and children. Amitabh Bachchan performs a few steps as he plays the harmonica. He helps a milkman, whose milk had spilt, with some money, he had snatched from some gamblers. The song ends abruptly and so does the video.
Artists
Kishore Kumar has sung this song for Amitabh Bachchan. Some other actors are also seen in the video.
Cultural Influence
There is no influence of any culture on this song. This is a song brimming with philosophy and it is one of my favorite Kishore Kumar croons. The song and the artists are fantastic. The video is watchable for the same.
