Qualification Summary
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 06/21/2021. Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-12 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-11. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. Specialized Experience (GS-12): Applicants must have One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-11 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions. Researching and applying pertinent laws, regulations, policies, and precedents which affect the use of program and related support resources (Human Resources, budgets, and office resources). Planning, scheduling, and conducting projects and studies to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations in a program or support setting. Reviews a variety of other areas of concern that impact the organization, including, but not limited to, contract administration, equipment IT and non-IT, training, travel, personnel, and internal controls. Analyzing and making recommendations concerning the centralization or decentralization of operations. Recognizing problem areas in an organization to formulate and recommend methods and procedures to improve administrative processes to management. Communicating with and influencing internal agency and external customers to accept and implement organizational needs and processes There is no educational substitution at the GS-12 level.
