Qualification Summary
To qualify for this position at the FV-G level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to FV-F/FG-5-9 in the Federal Service.Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Specialized experience may include, but is not limited to: -Collaborating with supervisors, managers, and specialists to resolve specific problems in the administrative program areas covered by the position, e.g., human resources, budget, training, and travel. -Maintaining and updating automated systems for tracking obligation and expenditures of funds throughout the execution phase of the annual operating budget. -Evaluating equipment needs; studying the features of various automated systems; conducting studies related to equipment usage; determining which systems best meet the needs of the office and/or are the most cost effective. OR Education may be substituted for experience as follows: PH.D or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.M., if related, is qualifying. OR Combination education and experience may be qualifying for this position. To qualify based on education, you must submit a copy of your high school or college transcripts or certificates. Failure to do so will result in loss of consideration. If selected, official transcripts will be required prior to employment. SCHOOLS MUST BE ACCREDITED BY AN ACCREDITING INSTITUTION RECOGNIZED BY THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.
