Qualification Summary
Applicants must meet the qualification requirements contained in the OPM Standards. For this position, they are listed below. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. FOR GS-11: One (1) year of specialized experience that equipped me with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. This experience is related to the work of the position and equivalent to at least the GS-09 level in the Federal service that includes: a wide range of established and specialized property management and accountability principles, concepts, and methodologies to provide services in property inventory, inspection, classification, identification, storage and distribution, and disposal of standard and nonstandard personal property and equipment, as well as skill in operating an automated database property management system for a broad range property functions including monitoring and accounting of activities, tracking trends, producing reports, tracking procurement data, and maintaining records and data integrity using existing policies and standard operating procedures.
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or three years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. degree. (NOTE: Applicants who select this response MUST provide transcript(s) for verification of education.)
Combination of successfully completed graduate level education beyond the first year of progressive graduate study, and specialized experience that together meets100% of the qualification requirements for the position. Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year (52 weeks) of service at the next lower grade level.
