Top 20 Punjabi Songs – May 19, 2021

Today’s first post is Top 20 Punjabi Songs – May 19, 2021. This week as well, there have been some disruptions in the song sequence. Thand rakh… by Himmat Sandhu, Daaku… by R Nait and Kishtan… by Arjan Dhillon have been completely thrown out of the list. Do vaari Jatt… by Jordan Sandhu, Mitha mitha… by Amrit Maan and Koka… by Ranjit Bawa have replaced songs at the eighteenth, nineteenth and twentieth levels.

I have mentioned the other changes in the list itself. We have watched Baarish ki jaaye… by B Praak, Musafir… by Korala Maan and Gurlez Akhtar and Ali Baba… by Malkirt Aulakh and Japji Khaira. Let’s have a look at the fourth song this week – 8 raflaan… by Malkirt Aulakh and Gurlez Akhtar.

This song is dedicated to the violent youth of the world. The story is that of a collegian, who is into crime. His girlfriend chides him about his activities. But, he does not stop them. During a wedding, he climbs to the terrace of the house and beckons to her. However, their intimacy is short-lived, since they are caught by the male members of her family. When she supports him, they leave them alone. I am not very happy with this song because it promotes violence and gives wrong ideas to the youth.
