Top 20 Punjabi Songs – May 12, 2021

Today’s first post is Top 20 Punjabi Songs – May 12, 2021. This week as well, there have been some disruptions in the song sequence. Listen bro… by Khan Bhaini has been dislodged from its fifth position and has been shifted to the seventh one, pushing 8 raflaan… by Malkirt Aulakh and Agg att koka keher… by Gurnaam Bhullar to the fifth and sixth positions. Ranjha… by Simar Doraha going to the nineteenth position from the eighteenth has pushed Kabbi seat… Ammy Virk from the nineteenth position to the eighteenth. There are no new entries this week.

I have written about Baarish ki jaaye… by B Praak and Musafir… by Korala Maan and Gurlez Akhtar. Let’s have a look at the third song this week – Ali Baba… by Malkirt Aulakh and Japji Khaira. The hero is in prison for what crime, it is not clear. His girlfriend keeps calling him over the phone. I wonder how a mobile phone is available to a prisoner. The man keeps speaking to her over the phone off and on. All the other prisoners respect this man.

The girl demands a gift for her birthday. The hero comes out of the prison, how? We don’t know. And gets her some jewelry. When the jeweler asks for money, she points her boyfriend out to him and the jeweler gives the jewelry for free! Then, the hero goes back to prison. What is the point in being in the prison when you have all the facilities and even can come out at will? There is no connection between the title and the video or the song for that matter. The song is not a big deal. Neither is the video.
