Today, Music Composer Vanraj Bhatia expired at 93. He was well-known for composing for the parallel cinema in India. Best known for composing in Western Classical Music in India, he bagged the National Award for Best Music Direction for the television movie Tamas (1988). His creative experimental music got him the 1989 Sangeet Natak Academy Award. He was also the recipient of the Padma Shri in 2012. Here are some of my favorite Bollywood songs composed by him.
