The GS-14base salary range starts at $93,907 per year. Locality Pay will be added after selection. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13in the Federal service.Specialized experience is experience preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, and cost estimates of materials and labor involved in the construction, repair, and alteration of commercial buildings. This experience must include the following: analyzing estimates and establishing the Government/owner negotiating position, dealing with the most complex proposals from contractors involving major modifications of systems and other large commercial expenditures; reviewing and verifying A-E cost estimates for major building systems and large commercial buildings and providing consultation with A-E estimators and Project Managers; and performing budgetary cost planning and calculations for prospectus submittals. Projects must include new buildings, as well as renovation & alteration of large and complex facilities, valued in the millions of dollars (equivalent to Federal Courthouses, Border Stations, and other commercial Buildings).
