Qualification Summary
This is a Direct Hire Solicitation for STEM Positions and Cyber Security and related positions. Applicants must meet all qualifications and eligibility requirements by the closing date of the announcement including time-in-grade restrictions, specialized experience and/or education, as defined below. BASIC REQUIREMENT: Degree: biological sciences, agriculture, natural resource management, chemistry, or related disciplines appropriate to the position. OR Combination of education and experience: Courses equivalent to a major, as shown above, plus appropriate experience or additional education. FOR THE GS-14 LEVEL: Applicants must have one year of specialized experience (equivalent to the GS-13 level) that may have been obtained in the private or public (local, county, state, Federal) sectors. Examples of specialized experience includes: Experience in a scientific field, such as: biological sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, plant science, food science, environmental science, public health, agricultural technologies or related fields. Experience with agricultural biotechnology or biotechnology legislation and regulations, department policies, international agreements and/or trade laws. Experience formulating guidelines, implementation of new developments, providing regulatory interpretation and/or recommendations to various stakeholders including senior officials.
