Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes (1) Applying knowledge of the nature and operations of manufacturing facility and the materials, facilities and methods employed in producing the end product; (2) Evaluating manufacturing facilities capabilities to assist with production planning and program development; (3) Preparing and reviewing comprehensive estimates of work such as technical data packages and quotation requests; and (4) Instructing and/or leading others. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
