If you are a new federal employee, your starting salary will likely be set at the Step 1 of the grade for which you are selected.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:To qualify, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12in the Federal service.Specialized experience is experience administering one or more human resources (HR) automated systems. This experience must include knowledge and application of the characteristics, functions and operational capabilities of the HR/IT system and experience training employees with varying levels of experience with HR/IT systems; troubleshooting system issues/errors; and utilizing a complex reporting tool to translate vaguely defined reporting/measurement requirements into workable reports to measure/assess personnel management efficiencies and efficacies.
