You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.Specialized experience: For the GS-13, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experiencefor this position includes: Planning, conducting, and documenting results of audits or projects within a federal agency, or similar auditing experience.Examples of qualifying experience could include: * Auditing programs or projects within a federal agency;OR * Auditing programs or projects involving contractors to a federal agency; OR * Performance or financial auditing within the private sector for a CPA firm or publicly traded company.
Specialized experience: For the GS-12, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experiencefor this position includes: Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sufficient evidence to identify weaknesses in controls over operations. Examples of qualifying experience could include: * Participating in audits; including use of computer software to gather and analyze data, prepare presentations and audit work papers;; OR * Collecting, analyzing, and summarizing audit data to support conclusions; OR * Participate during entrance and exit conference briefings to present audit objectives and potential findings; OR * Experience isolating and identifying conditions affecting mission capability, susceptibility to fraud, and the potential for increased efficiency.In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable: For the GS-13, you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-12, you must have been at the GS-11 level for 52 weeks.
