Qualification Summary
Applicants must meet the qualification requirements contained in the OPM Standards. For this position, they are listed below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through Nation Service programs (e.g. AmeriCorps, Peace Corps) and other organizations. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Applicants must have (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service that includes: Serve as a Property Assistant providing technical support in the administration of an automated property management system. Coordinate personal property and supply management functions such as inventory control and accounting for capitalized and non-capitalized property, disposal of excess and surplus property, moving and storage services, motor vehicle management, receiving, technical assistance, and training in property, fleet and museum property management. Only experience obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.
