You must have the ability to climb transmission structures up to 200 feet in height, or you will not be considered for this position. Ability to lead the work of Lineman. (Screen out)
Ability to do the work of High Voltage Electrician (Lineman) without more than normal supervision. (Screen out)
Knowledge of Electrical Equipment
Theory and Instruments (Electrical) Used in Shop and Trade Practices
Technical Practices (theoretical, precise, artistic)
Ability To Use Electrical Drawings
Ability to Use and Maintain Hand Tools (Electrical Work) CTAP/ICTAP candidates: To be considered “well qualified” you must meet all of the requirements as described in this section.”Experience” refers to paid and unpaid experience.Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations.
