Qualification Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Knowledge of Mental Health Department (MHD) mission, tasks, functions, and position structure in order to conduct organization and position management studies and reviews to improve the effectiveness of departmental administration. Knowledge and skill in utilizing management techniques such as workflow, work sampling, time and motion studies, and staffing standards in order to recommend improvements in administrative services and in the organization and staff levels of the department. Ability to prepare clear, concise reports utilizing ability to gather and evaluate data, make sound recommendations and conduct briefings to explain and support findings and recommendations on a variety of management studies. Knowledge of word processing/computer procedures, parameters, program design, development, and interpretation in order to provide reports, including graphical data, flow sheets and organization charts, and to train/advise departmental personnel. A qualified typist is required. Knowledge of Navy organization, extensive body of directives, correspondence controls, procedures and operations to perform the full range of office management reports preparation and problem solving.
