Qualification Summary
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluate contractors’ repair processes by using inspection techniques in nondestructive testing (NDT) and allied manufacturing processes in the areas of welding and brazing; 2) Monitor and maintain the quality of products or services in quality assurance, inspection, production, or related areas of shipbuilding; 3) Use specialized inspection and test equipment to complete inspections on hull, mechanical, electrical and marine machinery systems; and 4) Analyze contractors’ NDT and radiation safety for conformance to requirements and report deficiencies or corrective actions.
