Basic Requirement for Geologist (1350): Click Here In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below: Specialized Experience for the GS-11: One year of specialized experience performing environmental compliance which would include consulting under the Endangered Species Act and/or Clean Water Act, or other similar environmental laws, as well as assisting with completing environmental assessments and/or environmental impact statements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). Specialized Experience for the GS-12: One year of specialized experience performing environmental compliance which would include conducting consultations under the Endangered Species Act and/or Clean Water Act or other similar environmental laws as well as leading efforts for completing environmental assessments and/or environmental impact statements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
