You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: BASIC QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: This is a collateral duty assignment with no promotion potential, change to your current permanent position description of record, or post of duty. Your experience must demonstrate your technical expertise to plan and conduct formal classroom training on basic or advanced areas of tax law, procedures, policies, techniques, or other specialized fields unique to your position/occupation. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: GS-14 LEVEL: You must have 1 year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position includes: Experience performing a wide range of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, both qualitative and quantitative, sufficient to accomplish complex projects or studies broad in scope and magnitude; experience applying management principles and processes to perform project/program management duties and coordinating objectives and recommendations. MEET TIME IN GRADE (TIG) REQUIREMENT: For positions above the GS-05, applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade requirements to be considered eligible. One year (52 weeks) at the next lower grade level is required to meet the time-in-grade requirements for the grade you are applying for. Employees must be a current Internal Revenue Service (IRS). -Federal experience is not required. The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-timework is considered on a prorated basis.
