For GS-12: One (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-11 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Serves as a liaison on multiple projects and programs with agency-wide communication while drafting written and oral products such as memoranda, special reports and personnel files. Plans leadership’s schedules, conference calls, meetings and coordinates internal communications concerning short and long-term administrative needs. Develops, prepares, analyzes and coordinates administrative documents and products as needed including responses to internal and external tasks, with great attention to detail. Plans, coordinates and executes business functions, resource allocation, and production with the ability handle multiple work assignments. Possesses advanced oral and written communications skills, well-versed in correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
