GENERAL EXPERIENCE is experience or training which demonstrates the applicant’s ability to repair malfunctions of ordnance equipment and components. Ability to use sketches, electrical diagrams, technical specifications and engineering drawings. Experience which demonstrates skill in the use of test equipment to make electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic checks. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE is experience which is directly related to the position to be filled and which has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. WG-10- Must have at least 18 months of experience or training in planning and layout of repair sequence and ability to complete modification, repair and installation of ordnance systems. Experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions and determining remedy where complex relationships exist. Experience in hand tools and a limited number of measuring equipment. Experience in the use of a variety of test equipment. Experience in interpreting technical directions, blueprints, sketches, wiring diagrams and manufacturer’s specifications. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Resume must have complete dates and hours worked per week for each occurrence of both civilian and military employment (Example: 2 JAN 1980 to 3 MAR 1981; 0800-1630 M-F or JAN 1980 to MAR 1981; 40 hrs/wk) Use of year only will result in disqualification. The duties listed must fully substantiate -in your own words- that you meet the minimum requirements and specialized experience listed above, in detail; otherwise, you will not be considered qualified for this position. Length of time is not of itself qualifying. Your experience will be evaluated on the basis of duties performed. Your record of experience and/or training must show possession of the following knowledge, skills and abilities needed to fully perform the duties of the position: -Knowledge and appropriate training in functions of inspection, maintenance, installation, modification; and repair of air munitions launch, release, suspension systems, and aircraft gun systems.
-Working knowledge of the interaction of systems that are integrated with the avionics weapons control systems.
-Knowledge of troubleshooting procedures and skill in diagnosing problems and determining corrective action.
-Knowledge of stores management systems multiplex bus and how it interfaces with avionics fire control multiplex bus.
-Knowledge of basic electronics, and the principles of physics, mechanics, and pneudraulics as applied to air munitions measuring tools and electronics test equipment, and skill to interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
-Working knowledge of assigned computer systems used to document job data and a working knowledge of personal computers.
