Today’s post is Top 20 Punjabi Songs – January 20, 2021. This week the 2 new songs, Pagal nahin hona… by Sunanda Sharma and Mehendiwale hath… by Guru Randhawa, have replaced the last week’s sequence. The first song insists that the girl is so crazy about her beloved that even insane people would not be. She realizes the same only after he has left her. Simultaneously, the video depicts how the girl’s beloved joins the army and has to go to the front to fight for the nation.
When the girl realizes that he was going to the front, she goes to the railway station quickly. But, it is too late since the train had departed. However, they keep in touch through letters and when he comes on a vacation, she meets him at the station and all is well that ends well. I loved 2 things about the video. One is that the girl’s point-of-view is depicted and the second is that the treatment of the subject is also different. And for a change, Sonu Sood is performing a positive romantic role in this video.
