Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:
Operates limited coffee operation. Prepares a variety of hot and cold beverages such as cappuccinos, frappuccinos, brewed coffee, lattes, espresso, hot chocolate, etc. by selecting proper ingredients. Serves cold beverages and food items, such as soda, juice, cookies, muffins, pastries, popcorn, candy, etc. Receives payment, operates cash register, makes and returns change to patrons. Sets up work area for operation and obtains cash bank. Maintains work area in a neat and clean manner. Sets up/cleans tables for the customers and replenishes condiment items as necessary. Performs preventive maintenance and cleaning. Scrapers, soaks, scours glassware, dishes and utensils as required. Assists with inventories, identifies items for re-ordering. May be required to prepare documentation for cash funds accountability. May sell alcoholic beverages limited to bottle beer. Performs other related duties as assigned.
