QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Minimum eligibility requirements for positions in this occupation are based on possession of the appropriate Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) pilot certificates and/or appropriate military ratings, meeting the applicable flight hour requirements, and possession of the knowledge and skills required for the positions. Certificates and Ratings: Candidates must possess a current FAA Air Transport Pilot Certificate or the appropriate military rating. (Note: Candidates establishing eligibility based on military flight experience must provide official orders, forms, or logbooks showing their status as an appropriate rated military pilot. You must submit a copy of your certificates and ratings to show you meet the following requirements: FAA Air Transport Pilot Certificate (Front and Back) with Multi-Engine Land rating FAA Air Transport Pilot Certificate (Front and Back) with at least one heavy turbojet/turbo prop type rating Flight Experience: You must possess the flight experience described below that demonstrates the following knowledge and skills: Flying large (over 12,500 pounds gross weight) turbine powered, turbo-prop, and/or reciprocating multi-engine fixed wing aircraft; Operating aircraft over established routes for transporting passengers, freight, and supplies; Ensuring pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight operations were conducted with the standards set by applicable Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations; Ensuring an aircraft is properly maintained; Completing and submitting aircraft maintenance reports, logs, and trip reports; and Performing pre-flight and post-flight inspections. (Your resume must CLEARLY demonstrate this experience) Minimum Flight Hour Requirements: You must possess the following minimum flight hours.
