In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-12 or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector applying a mastery knowledge of procurement, contracting, and negotiation methods to ensure regulations and requirements are met for compliance. Specialized experience must include: 1) Initiate, develop, and recommend contracting policies and procedures for the guidance and control of contracting offices; 2) Review changes and analyzes impact of change to contracting regulations and policy letters from upper management; 3) Conduct procurement training to contracting personnel; 4) Interpret and apply Federal DoD and DON contracting laws, regulations, principles and procedures to manage programs and provide guidance on all aspects of procurement.
