GS-11: Applicants must meet ONE of the following: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least ONE full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in Federal service. Specialized experience includes providing Information Technology or Automated Litigation Support customer service for an organization; including installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of software and hardware; customer assistance and training in response to user requirements; performing a wide range of information system analysis and development; defining, creating and managing large databases for processing electronically stored information (ESI), OR EDUCATION: A Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management OR degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks. GS-12: To be eligible at the GS-12 level, you must meet have at least one full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in Federal service. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: At least ONE full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 level in Federal service. Specialized experience includes providing IT support for an organization including installation, troubleshooting and maintenance of hardware and software, customer assistance AND at least 3 of the following: 1) coordinating Automated Litigation Support services for an organization; 2) defining and creating case databases for processing electronically stored information (ESI), case production, case organization and trial presentation; 3) serving as the subject matter expert and providing high level technical advice to litigation teams on legal automation options, systems capabilities, and support services; 4) presentation of complex and voluminous evidence or production of graphic demonstrative evidence; 5) resolving hardware/software interface and interoperability problems during live presentations; 6) synchronization of audio and video clips; 7) training in response to user requirements.
