Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes advising leadership on, records management program disciplines, and identifying procedures and methodologies that will improve effectiveness and efficiency; performing analytical studies that result in improved procedures, methods or policies applicable to the mission; working with digital equipment such as optical digital imaging, computer output microform and other records management related systems; managing the Army Federal Register Rules and Notice Publication Program by certifying actions received from all stakeholders are published in the Federal Register within time and technical guidelines; providing support on legal and regulatory practices, review and coordinate notices ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulation(s) review; independently coordinate and communicate with responding organizations to ensuring Records Management Recordkeeping requirement reviews for Regulations are complete and accurate; analyzing responses in order to produce an assessment to the stakeholder for which the regulation is reflective, ensuring that the recordkeeping requirements have been met as prescribed by law; conveying accurate and timely guidance to Information Management Control Officers (IMCO) at headquarters staff level and within Army commands field level on Information Collection and Reporting requirements as it relates to Public Law 104-13, The Paperwork Reduction Act, and other governing regulations statues, codes and directives. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
