Qualification Summary
Who May Apply: US Citizens Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. There is no specific length of training or experience required. However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision. Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element): Ability to do the work of a(n) Food Service Worker~ without more than normal supervision. I have the ability to perform normal duties such as: operating a cash register; counting money to verify proper change. I am skilled preparing and wrapping food for food carts and inventorying items. – Failure to meet this Screen out Element will result in an ineligible rating. Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal SupervisionAbility To Follow Directions in a ShopDexterity and SafetyReliability And Dependability PHYSICAL CONDITIONS: The work requires the employee to lift items weighing up to 35 pounds; to bend, stoop, push and pull heavy objects; and involves continuous standing, walking and sitting. Must possess good eyesight and coordination for cash register, money handling duties. WORKING CONDITIONS: Employee performs work in noisy kitchen and dining room areas and is subject to injuries from equipment used. There is exposure to dirt, grease and water in cleaning tasks and exposure to extremes of temperature in bringing supplies from walk-in refrigerators and freezers.
