MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Recreation or related field strongly preferred. Minimum 4 years of specialized experience that demonstrates possession of managerial/supervisory knowledge and skills in managing multiple commercial recreation programs. Skill to manage a retail merchandise and service delivery programs for outdoor recreational programs. Knowledge of developing pricing strategies, establishing measurable sales profitability and productivity goals, reviewing and approving price agreements and special offerings. Knowledge of monitoring operational results and initiating proactive measures to meet sales goals, and correct failing strategies. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point). Must have proven track record managing a diverse workforce, leading teams of various sizes. Must have the ability to build strong partnerships and strategically influence others, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong financial aptitude and analytical skills, and proven experience working effectively with senior leadership levels. Skilled in assessing the needs of patrons and employees while working in a recreation setting. Required to have CPR and First Aid Certification within first 90 days of employment.
