Applicants must meet the qualification requirements contained in the OPM Standards. For this position, they are listed below. BASIC REQUIREMENTS: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. For GS-12: one year of experience equivalent, comparable to at least the GS-11 in the federal service. This experience must include; performing duties such as gathering data related to educational institutions and programs with extensive infrastructures; perform a wide range of project management and basic business principles and practices; researched problems and their impacts; collect data and assist with the use of databases and data management, including gathering, synthesizing, evaluating, reporting, and interpreting data and information from a wide variety of education and support programs; technical assistance, and training in areas in project management; implement data quality inspection plans, performs data verification/validation procedures and reviews difference reports; use current data and reporting software sufficient to understand the technical feasibility of reporting projects and to provide support to customers. Only experience obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered. Time-In-Grade Requirements: Merit Promotion (status) candidates must have completed one year (52 weeks) of service at the next lower grade level.
