Qualification Summary
Applicants must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal sector with specialized experience in ALL of the following areas: Knowledge of the governing auditing and Information Technology laws, regulations, and policies—such as Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards, Generally Accepted Accounting Standards, OMB Circulars, GAO guidance, GPRA, FISMA, CobiT and other NIST guidelines—in order to develop and implement IT audit strategies and guidelines that focus onvarious audit approaches and methodologies to assist in planning, executing, assessing, testing, reporting, and resolving audits of complex IT issues. Your resume must clearly reflect that you meet this specialized experience requirement.Your answers to the on-line assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas. Your resume must support your responses to the questionnaire. Knowledge of professional auditing principles, practices, and techniques.
Ability to supervise and develop and promote a diverse workforce.
Ability to analyze organizational and operational problems and develop solutions.
Ability to provide technical assistance and consultation on audit and/or evaluation matters. NOTE: We do not require a separate statement responding to the competencies, also referred to as Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs). However, your resume should clearly show possession of these competencies.
