QUALIFICATIONS: In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized Experience required: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level GS-09. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience with the application of quality assurance principles to plan and accomplish a variety of difficult and complex work assignments used to evaluate contractor conformance. Use initiative and professional judgment to determine detailed approaches and methodologies to develop acquisition surveillance plans. Interface and coordinate quality assurance plans and programs among multiple acquisition or industrial disciplines. Apply continuous improvement methodologies in the surveillance of electronic processes to implement an economical risk management program Education can be substituted for experience. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
