Qualification Summary
Only experience and education obtained by 11/13/2020 will be considered. You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the Federal service. Examples of such experience may include: assists supervisors/managers in developing structured training plans for their interns/developmental employees to facilitate their development; works with managers to identify leadership training and developmental needs of their current workforce, facilitates team building efforts for increased performance; delivers strategic workforce planning briefings, guidance, and training materials; and assist in creating tools and designing training for supervisors to implement effective hiring and onboarding efforts for all regional employees. You may qualify at the GS-13 level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the Federal service. Examples of such experience may include: assesses the leadership training needs for an organization to develop recommendations for addressing training needs in an efficient and effective manner; develops and conducts organizational development studies relating to such factors as turnover and retention, demographics, employee satisfaction and engagement to identify workforce dynamics, trends and anticipated changes that may impact the workforce; works with managers to identify leadership training and developmental needs of their current workforce, develops and facilitates coaching and mentoring options to attract new or existing employees for team building and increased performance; and review, analyzes the results obtained from employee feedback surveys to provide recommendations and/or changes to leadership. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
