Your resume must demonstrate the following: Have one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail – Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Leading fleet technical assist events; identify, test and install end of life equipment and software for network systems; conduct system assessments to return them to baseline; perform software testing of legacy software applications; and conduct testing for network systems Functional, System, and Security Compatibility; performing needs analysis to define opportunities for new or improved business process solutions; consulting with customers to identify and specify requirements; planning systems implementation; and /or ensuring the rigorous application of information security. 2. Customer Service – Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Develop and implement information Cyber security plans and procedures and ensure appropriate product related training and documentation are developed and made available to customers. 3. Oral Communication – Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Interface with other Navy activities, contractors, Program Office and Fleet maintenance support activities to identify and specify requirements for the preparation of business cases for the introduction of new IT solutions to the Network. 4. Problem Solving – Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Coordinate with the project manager, fleet services functional area manager and the engineering team for maintenance and control of system baseline configuration and the evaluation of available data to increase fielded systems performance, suitability, end-to-end testing, and troubleshooting capabilities. In addition your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band (NO-04) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector Leading In Service Engineering Agency (ISEA) support applying analytical processes, planning, designing and the implementation of new and legacy systems: Automated Digital Network System (ADNS), Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Service (CANES), Integrated Shipboard Network System (ISNS), Combined Enterprise Regional Information Exchange System Maritime (CENTRIX M), and Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) Networks.
