Qualification Summary
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
You may qualifyby acombination of education and experience.Options for qualifying based on a combination will be identified in the online questions.
GS-6 LEVEL: You must have 1year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibilityequivalent to the GS-05 gradelevel in the federal service. Specialized experiencefor this position includes:possessing athorough knowledge of IDRS procedures, terminal capabilities, entity information, history items and specific account information to research unidentified/incomplete payments, establish account information; Knowledge of remittance or cash processing procedures, deposit guidelines, filing requirements, and research techniques; Knowledge of the capability and use of available systems (i.e., ACS, IDRS, BBTS, LINUS, TEDS, and EDS; Knowledge of applicable IRM requirements, Taxpayer Assistance Order (TAO), Privacy Act, and Freedom of Information; and skill operating office equipment and maintaining a wide variety of work operations in rapid succession in order to immediately process payments, meet the deposit cycles, and deal with rapidly changing priorities.-The experience may have been gained in the public sector, private sector or Volunteer Service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.-To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week, on your resume.In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following, if applicable:
You must have been at the GS-5 level for 52 weeks (time-in-grade requirement).
