You qualify for the GS-15 grade level if you possess one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in the federal service, performing duties such as: Developing, directing and evaluating the organizations Special Emphasis Programs; advising management officials on matters pertaining to employment of minorities and women within the organization; Developing or reviewing internal policies and EEO activities that affect the employment of minorities and women; developing affirmative action plans; monitoring progress in achieving goals and objectives and evaluating results; Providing advice to managers and key staff officials on the long-and-short range goals of the affirmative employment programs; Analyzing the workforce of organizational components to identify particular occupations, organizations and lines of progression (career ladders) in which minorities and women are underrepresented; Conducting studies, surveys, or questionnaires as needed to identify problems or barriers to EEO; participating in personnel management evaluation surveys to identify EEO problems and their causes; AND Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. National Service Experience (i.e., volunteer experience): Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
