GS-14: Specialized Experience:One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level in the Federal service which includes: 1) Applies laws and policies regarding development of civil works planning products; and/or 1) Identifies, obtains, and prepares documentation needed to complete a feasibility study and chief’s report, and/or 2) Responsible for conveying complex concepts related to the Missouri River to technical and non-technical managers, project partners, other Federal, state, and local agencies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted. In addition to meeting the Specialized Experience applicants must meet the basic education requirements for the occupational series listed for this position.
