Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience:
Must be able to work independently and plan work in order to achieve maximum accomplishment of assigned duties. Must have the ability to complete a variety of reports and track requirements and completions. Typing skills are required. Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language; i.e., read, write, and speak. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) / Tier 1 investigation. Progressively responsible experience in food service storeroom or supply work which provided knowledge of rules, procedures, and program requirements. Knowledge of subsistence inventory and accountability procedures and regulations desired. Experience must have been sufficiently demanding to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve problems and/or deviations from normal management procedures or program requirements. Must possess or be able to obtain a qualifying food handlers certification. Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s license. Must have experience driving refrigerated trucks and forklifts ranging from IK to 6K. Must have, or be able to obtain, a forklift license. Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
