Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the Federal Service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. Applicants must meet the qualifications for this position within thirty (30) days of the closing date of this announcement.Qualifying specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) exercising judgment when handling confidential sensitive information; 2) developing written methods or standard operating procedures (SOPs) for administrative support functions or program operations; 3) managing, drafting, and editing documents (SOPs, policies, plans, audits, forms, correspondence, etc.) to ensure adherence to guidelines, policies, and grammar;4) managing an Office’s financial records; AND 5) assisting with budget preparation. Evidence of the above specialized experience must be supported by detailed documentation of duties performed in positions held.
